The Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan announced the delivery of a fleet of 30 modern ZHONGTONG buses. These buses were purchased by LLC 'Bunod Yo'lovchi Tashish' and are destined for the Khorezm region.
Since the beginning of 2026, 90 units of new rolling stock have already been put into operation in the region. The new buses are planned to be introduced into service in the coming days on internal routes serving the city of Urgench.
Passenger transport will be organized based on general contracts. The fleet renewal is part of efforts to develop regional public transport, improve service quality, and modernize existing rolling stock.
It is expected that the introduction of new buses will improve passenger comfort and safety, enhance the quality of services for the local population, and increase the overall efficiency of the public transport system.
