According to information provided by the Tashkent region hokimiyat, fourteen doctors from this region traveled to the Republic of Korea to undergo in-depth training. This trip is part of a healthcare partnership with Gyeonggi province.
The visit was organized based on a memorandum of cooperation signed between the Tashkent region hokimiyat and the government of Gyeonggi province. The specialists who arrived in South Korea were met by their colleagues.
The delegation includes medical workers specializing in fields such as neurosurgery, cardiothoracic surgery, radiology, urology, interventional cardiology, traumatology and orthopedics, oncology, hematology-oncology, and dentistry.
During the internship, specialists will study modern diagnostic and treatment methods, master techniques for complex surgical interventions, and participate in laparoscopic and robotic surgeries.
The main goal of this cooperation is to improve the qualifications of medical personnel and to implement the acquired knowledge and technologies into local medical practice.
The hokimiyat noted that specialists from the region who have undergone foreign training in the last two years have successfully implemented angiography, spinal neurosurgery, as well as laparoscopic and thoracoscopic operations in local medical institutions.
The current training program is aimed at further improving skills and mastering advanced medical technologies. The experience gained by the doctors is planned to be applied in practice, including supporting qualified surgeries at the Multidisciplinary Medical Center in Nurafshon city.
