Livestock complex worth $35 million construction begins in Kasansai district of Uzbekistan

According to the press service of the Khokimiyat of Kasansai district, the construction of a modern livestock complex with a total cost of 35 million US dollars has started in the Kasansai district of Namangan region, Uzbekistan.

This project involves creating facilities capable of housing up to 15 thousand head of livestock simultaneously. The Kasansai district was officially designated as a specialized territory for animal husbandry based on the Decree of the President of Uzbekistan No. 179 dated May 12, 2026.

Project Implementation Start

As part of fulfilling the tasks outlined in this document, a foundation-laying ceremony for the complex took place in the Yangi Uzbekistan mahalla. LLC "Namangan Chorva Invest Holding" is responsible for implementing the project.

The facility will be located on a plot of 14.7 hectares, with about thirty percent of the total area planned for landscaping. The project is scheduled for the period from 2026 to 2028.

The scope of work includes creating modern infrastructure for animal husbandry, expanding breeding programs, and introducing advanced agricultural technologies into the industry.

Event and Expectations

The opening ceremony was attended by the Governor of Namangan region, Shavkatjon Abdurazzakov, representatives of the older generation, industry specialists, and local residents. A traditional sacrifice was performed before the start of construction, after which village elders offered prayers for the successful completion of the enterprise, and construction was officially launched.

It is expected that the implementation of this project will serve as an additional stimulus for the development of animal husbandry in the Kasansai district, create new jobs, and increase income among the local population.
