This 2026 premium smartphone is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 For Galaxy processor and features 12 GB of RAM, ensuring high performance in demanding applications and access to Galaxy AI features, as tested.

The main camera system allows for 8K video recording and includes a 200 MP wide-angle lens with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 50 MP ultrawide, a 10 MP telephoto, and a 50 MP periscope lens, offering 3x and 5x optical zoom for detailed close-ups. Samsung announced the launch of the Galaxy S26 FE on Thursday (27). This new smartphone was designed to offer flagship device features in a format that balances cost and benefit, positioning itself between the mid-range Galaxy A57 model and the current Galaxy S line.

During an official event held by the South Korean manufacturer, it was announced that the device will be available in international stores starting September 4th.

A significant highlight of this new generation is the incorporation of features typically found in the brand's more expensive models. The One UI 9.0 version incorporates Gemini-based Artificial Intelligence innovations, along with the revamped Now Brief and Now Nudge functions, and the Circle to Search feature.

The basic 128 GB model will launch in the United States for $699 (equivalent to approximately R$ 3,600 in direct conversion), confirming speculation about a possible price adjustment compared to the previous generation. In Europe, prices start at €799 (for the 128 GB version), corresponding to about R$ 4,800 at the current exchange rate, potentially reaching €1,099 in the 512 GB configuration, which represents approximately R$ 6,600 without taxes.

The manufacturer communicated that buyers of the new Fan Edition will be entitled to six months of free subscription to the Google AI Pro service, which grants access to advanced AI models and 5 TB of cloud storage. For those looking for a tablet with direct annotation functionality, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ includes the S Pen, which magnetically attaches to the back of the tablet and operates without needing battery power to draw or take notes.

Additionally, the tablet incorporates DeX mode, which transforms the Android experience into something closer to a traditional computer operating system. This allows organizing applications in separate windows and even connecting wireless peripherals, such as a mouse and keyboard, optimizing typing and general use.

The photographic capabilities include a 13-megapixel rear camera, suitable for capturing documents and notes, and a 12-megapixel front camera positioned on the longer edge, which helps keep the face centered during video calls when the tablet is propped up.

The 10,090 mAh battery is sized to match the consumption of the large screen, offering autonomy for a full day in typical study, reading, and video routines. In lighter usage scenarios, the charge can last up to two days without recharging.

However, the charging time is a weak point. Although the tablet supports 45-watt fast charging, the charger provided in the box is only 15 watts, meaning the process of fully charging the battery will take several hours.
