The East Zone managed to reach the final by defeating the reigning Central Zone champion by four wickets, and now it faces the trophy battle on September 6th at Chepauk Stadium in Chennai.

The semi-final was special for Vaibhav. In the first innings, he scored 92 runs off 81 balls, and in the second, 40 runs off 43 balls. In both matches, he demonstrated his aggressive playing style. Despite being only 15 years old, Vaibhav Suryavanshi's understanding of cricket significantly surpasses his age. When Vaibhav was suddenly offered the captaincy role from the Eastern region in the Dalip Trophy semi-final match against the Central region, he made a decision that demonstrated his foresight.
