How to make pure aloe vera gel at home, avoiding expensive and chemical alternatives

Aloe vera gel is an essential part of any self-care routine because it helps improve facial beauty and makes hair shinier and stronger. People often use ready-made aloe vera gel from stores, which may contain various chemicals, preservatives, and artificial dyes.

If you have an aloe vera plant at home, you do not need to buy expensive and fake gel from the store. You can prepare 100% natural, pure, and chemical-free aloe vera gel yourself.

However, when extracting the gel from the leaves, certain rules must be followed to remove the yellow toxic substance. Below is the simplest technique for obtaining a large amount of thick gel from an aloe vera leaf.

You will need:

  • Fresh and thick aloe vera leaves — 2-3
  • Vitamin E capsules — 2 (for radiance and preservation)
  • Lemon juice or rose water — 1 teaspoon
  • Blender/food processor — 1
  • Clean and dry glass jar — 1

First, the leaf must be cut correctly: thick, fully mature lower leaves are cut from the aloe vera plant using a knife.

Next, the cut leaves are left in a container for 15-20 minutes. This allows the bitter and toxic yellow substance to completely drain from the bottom of the leaf, preventing itching or skin allergies.

After this, the leaves are thoroughly washed with clean water and dried. Then, the spiny edges are removed from both sides of the leaf with a knife.

The leaf is cleaned by removing the top green layer as thin skin. Then, a spoon is taken, placed on the cleaned aloe vera, and pushed down, scraping. This way, a large amount of pure gel is easily separated from the entire leaf into a bowl.

The extracted gel is placed in the blender jar. The oil from two Vitamin E capsules and one teaspoon of lemon juice or rose water are added. Mix for 10-15 seconds (Vitamin E and lemon juice help prevent spoilage).

The finished thick and smooth aloe vera gel is transferred to an airtight glass container. It can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.

Accused Robert Mosley held in special armored glass cell due to danger to other inmates

There is a prison cell whose walls are made not of ordinary walls, but of armored glass and concrete. Under these conditions, the inmate spends about 23 hours in solitary confinement, and direct contact with other people is virtually non-existent. To remove him from the cell, the presence of at least four guards is required. This is how the life of such an inmate proceeds in Great Britain.

This inmate, named Robert Mosley, is considered one of the most dangerous in Great Britain. He has been in prison since 1974, meaning for over five decades. It is important to note that three of his four murders were committed while incarcerated, which leads the prison administration to consider him a serious threat.

Robert Mosley's first murder took place in 1974 in London. He killed a man named John Farrell. According to reports, Farrell showed him photographs related to sexual abuse of children. After this incident, Mosley was deemed mentally unfit to stand trial. He was sent to the high-security psychiatric hospital Broadmoor, where it was recommended that he should never be released. However, the real alarming period began later.

In 1977, while at Broadmoor, Mosley and another patient, Davididgeen, locked themselves in one room with David Francis, who had been convicted of child sexual abuse. Following events that lasted about nine hours, Francis died. After this, Mosley was arrested and transferred to HMP Wakefield. But his aggressive behavior did not cease after the change of prison.

In 1978, at Wakefield prison, Mosley killed two inmates in one day. First, he killed an inmate named Salni Darwood, who was imprisoned for murdering his wife. Then he reached William Roberts' cell. Roberts was serving time for child sexual abuse.

These events shocked the prison administration. The question was no longer just what Mosley had done, but that he remained a threat to other inmates even inside the prison.

To control Mosley, the prison administration made an extremely unusual decision. In 1983, a special cell was built for him in the prison basement. This cell was made of armored glass and concrete and became known as the 'Glass Cage'. This cell is about 5.5 meters long and 4.5 meters wide. Inside there was a concrete bed, toilet, and sink. A table and chair were also made of special materials that make them difficult to use as weapons. Many compare this cell to Hannibal Lecter's cage shown in the film 'The Silence of the Lambs.'

Mosley spent about 17,500 days in constant solitary confinement. This period is considered one of the longest in the history of British prisons. Physical contact with other people was practically excluded. When he is taken out of the cell for sports, at least four guards are always present with him. Even for a nail trim, his legs have to be taken out through a small opening in the door. That is, what an employee or another person can usually do directly, in Mosley's case happens under strict security control.

Nevertheless, questions were raised about such prolonged solitary confinement. In 2000, Mosley filed an appeal with the court requesting permission to die. He questioned what it meant to be kept in a confined space for about 23 hours daily and who he actually posed a threat to. However, given his past records and crimes committed in prison, he was not granted freedom.

Furthermore, Mosley himself admits that he could become aggressive again if given a chance. In a recent interview given from prison, he stated that if he got the opportunity to harm any sexual offender who committed sexual violence, he would do so. He also said that if he had to face someone who sexually abused him, he would try to kill them.
