A video recording of the female students' protest from Gujarat has appeared online. The girls expressed dissatisfaction with the conditions in the Samaras women's dormitory, raising issues concerning food quality, water availability, and general living amenities. Their discontent is not isolated, as similar protests have been recorded previously.
Previously, the students claimed that for the last four to five months, they had been provided with food containing insects, as well as cigarettes and plastic.
One of the protesting students voiced serious complaints about the dormitory conditions. According to her, there is a problem with finding insects in the food served at the dormitory. Furthermore, the girls complained about the lack of sufficient water to meet basic needs.
The students noted that the water shortage creates difficulties in performing daily tasks. In addition to problems with food and water, they also questioned other living conditions in the dormitory, asserting that they have suffered from these inconveniences for a long time.
One of the girls stated that the protests would continue until their demands are met. The students insist on the need for more high-quality and safe conditions in the dormitory and demand that their complaints be taken seriously.
Moreover, the students raised questions regarding the water in the dormitory. Previously, they reported that the water sometimes turned green, and consuming this water led to the deterioration of several girls' health. They also noted that all systems suddenly become clean when inspectors visit the dormitory.
