President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent greetings to schoolchildren, educators, mentors, and parents on the occasion of Knowledge Day, which coincided with the country's 35th anniversary of independence.
The head of state addressed nearly eight hundred thousand children who are attending school for the first time this year. He called educated and diligent youth the future pillars of the Third Renaissance and the country's valuable capital.
In his address, the nation's leader emphasized that thanks to large-scale transformations carried out in recent years, schools in New Uzbekistan have undergone significant changes, and the level of education is constantly rising.
Education Priority and New Learning Formats
The President wished that the new academic year would be a time for developing enlightenment in all spheres of education—in schools, lyceums, technical colleges, and higher education institutions. He also stressed that attention to the field of education will remain a priority so that graduates possess not only deep theoretical knowledge but also skills relevant to modern professions.
To achieve these goals, 'profession towns' are planned to be created in various regions, where advanced experience and leading specialists will be involved.
Appeal to Youth
Addressing the younger generation, Shavkat Mirziyoyev urged young people to cherish their youth, diligently study both native and foreign languages, and be interested in history and innovations while remaining devoted to their Motherland.
The head of state particularly noted that knowledge is the key to a happy and prosperous life, helping to find solutions to complex problems and overcome life's difficulties. He wished the students a successful academic year and high results.
Previously, Shavkat Mirziyoyev had also congratulated the entire people of Uzbekistan on the 35th anniversary of state independence.
