Selection of gamer monitors on sale on Amazon to improve game fluidity

For those seeking greater performance and immersion during gaming, monitor quality is a decisive factor. Three gamer monitor options with good specifications that are currently on sale on Amazon have been selected.

The AOC AGON G50 model features a 24-inch IPS panel, offering a refresh rate of 144Hz and a response time of only 0.5ms. This ensures smooth, blur-free images even during intense action moments. Furthermore, it supports HDR10 to enhance color depth and contrast, and G-SYNC compatibility helps eliminate the dreaded 'screen tearing,' providing a sharper and more responsive visual experience.

Another highlighted option is the LG UltraGear Gamer Monitor 24″ IPS 144Hz (O/C) 1ms (MBR) Full HD HDR10 NVIDIA G-SYNC AMD FreeSync – 24G411A. This monitor serves as a versatile solution for gamers using various platforms. It features an IPS Full HD panel, support for refresh rate overclocking, a 1ms MBR response time, and is compatible with both NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync, adapting well to different PC setups. The HDR10 feature also guarantees more realistic and vibrant colors in detailed scenes.

The Haiz monitor, on the other hand, presents a 25-inch IPS screen with Full HD resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a 0.5ms response time. It includes Adaptive Sync support to reduce visual stuttering. Connection flexibility is guaranteed by HDMI and DisplayPort inputs, and VESA support allows for various installation methods, whether on the desk or mounted on the wall.

Since promotions on Amazon tend to change rapidly, it is recommended to access the available links immediately to take advantage of the current conditions. A monitor with a high refresh rate and low response time can significantly transform the gaming experience, and these three choices meet that requirement.

Samsung launches Odyssey gaming monitor with 1,100 Hz refresh rate

Samsung exhibited the next generation of its Odyssey monitors at the Gamescom electronic games fair, focusing on offering high refresh rates and reduced response times.

The main highlight presented was the Odyssey G6 (G60H), a 27-inch monitor that reaches 1,100 Hz in Full HD mode. This performance surpasses the 1,040 Hz shown by the company at CES 2026 and is more than double the 500 Hz frequency of the version released last year.

Additionally, the company revealed new Odyssey OLED monitors planned for 2027, which will include ultrawide options with various resolution and frequency configurations. However, Samsung has not yet provided information on the prices or commercialization dates for these models.

It is relevant to note that both high refresh rates and low response times are highly desired features by the gaming public, especially in competitions. Recently, Samsung Display demonstrated QHD and 4K OLED panels supporting up to 300 Hz refresh rates during the IMID 2026 exhibition.

The new G6 uses a 27-inch IPS panel, has a native Quad HD (2560 x 1440) resolution, and a 1 ms response time. However, the 1,100 Hz rate can only be achieved when the resolution is reduced to Full HD, optimizing it for competitive gaming where fluidity is a priority.

When using the full resolution capacity of the panel, the refresh rate drops to 600 Hz, a value significantly higher than the standard observed in recent gaming monitors, which range between 120 Hz and 240 Hz. Although Samsung has not disclosed the cost, it anticipates that the Odyssey G6 will be available by the end of this year and should compete with the LG UltraGear 25G590B, a 24.5-inch Full HD monitor that also promises 1,000 Hz speed.

The largest model in this new line is the Odyssey OLED G9 (G95SJ), which features a 49-inch ultrawide screen. According to Samsung, this model is the first to present these specifications with DQHD resolution and a 360 Hz refresh rate, potentially reaching 720 Hz.

The Odyssey OLED G9 panel employs QD-OLED technology, has a resolution of 5120 x 1440 pixels, and maintains the previous generation's response time of 0.03 ms, in addition to a peak brightness of 1,300 nits. Similar to the G6, the highest refresh rate mode requires a lower resolution, dropping to HD (2560 x 720).

The previous generation 49-inch Odyssey OLED G9 was sold in Brazil for R$ 11,999. The 32-inch Odyssey OLED G8 will also receive an update, offering three distinct combinations of resolution and frequency. This monitor features a fifth-generation QD-OLED panel, a 0.03 ms response time, and features to minimize reflections, including a USB-C port with up to 98W charging.

It is worth noting that the manufacturer had already launched the Odyssey G8 6K in Brazil, which achieves a 330 Hz refresh rate by halving the resolution. Finally, in the sequence of the line, Samsung opted not to make major technological changes to the Odyssey OLED G7; it will maintain the 4K resolution and 165 Hz refresh rate but will be available in a larger size, increasing from 37 inches in the previous model, launched in Brazil in January, to 42 inches.
