The process of selecting the first Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Shri Ramjanbhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust in Ayodhya has reached its final stage. Starting with 5,585 applications, the search has narrowed down to three candidates. The search committee presented this list to the Trust on September 1st for consideration, after which the final decision on appointing the first CEO will be made.
The selection for this important position was based solely on criteria of qualification and transparency. The initial technical and manual screening of the 5,585 received applications was conducted by teams in various locations, including Delhi-NCR, Pune, and Sambalpur. After a thorough review of the documents, 16 applicants were selected for the final stage.
From August 3rd to 6th, all these candidates participated in online interviews, and then on August 11th and 12th, they were invited to Ayodhya for in-person interviews. The expert committee evaluated the candidates based on parameters such as leadership qualities, managerial experience, professional background, integrity, and foresight.
The search committee included Judge (retired) Pramod Kohli, Lieutenant General (retired) V.K. Chaturvedi, and Dr. Suresh Havre. The committee members possessed extensive experience in the fields of law, military, and nuclear science. When presenting the final report, the committee members were attended by Govinddev Maharaj, Sant Dindenndra Das, Krishna Mohan, Shashank Tripathi, Dinesh, Jagishvidh Afle, Jagnath Gulve, and Bajrang Bagda. Samir Panda, the secretary of the search committee, reported that the entire selection process was completed ahead of schedule.
The selection process began on July 1st with the first meeting to discuss selection standards and eligibility criteria. On July 6th, the selection committee was formed. On July 14th, Samir Panda was appointed as the committee secretary. The application submission period closed on July 18th. Application verification took place throughout July, and in August, following online discussions, personal meetings were held with the final sixteen candidates in Ayodhya. Now, on September 1st, a package of three names has been submitted to the Trust. The next step will be for the Trust to consider these three options to make a final decision.
