Ahead of the start of the new academic year and in honor of the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence, nearly 13 thousand children from socially vulnerable groups across the country received necessary support.
The total amount of funds allocated for charitable campaigns amounted to over 4.9 billion soms. Employees of 2,161 mosques participated in conducting these events.
Support for Students and Orphans
As part of this initiative, 11,144 children from low-income families, as well as children in need of social protection or who have lost their breadwinners, received free school uniforms and educational supplies.
Additionally, the charitable public foundation 'Waqf' provided festive gifts, school uniforms, and educational supplies to another approximately 1.5 thousand orphans.
Geography of Aid Provision
Support was provided in various regions: 302 children received aid in the Fergana region, 243 children in the Samarkand region, and 215 children in the Kashkadarya region.
Organizers emphasized that the goal of these charitable events is to support children belonging to socially vulnerable groups and assist in preparing for the upcoming academic year.
