Mandana stated on social media that for the last six years, she has been facing cyberbullying and harassment. This process continues even after she left India and moved to Dubai.
On Tuesday, Mandana posted several videos on Instagram where she spoke about being bothered online after her breakup. She reported that an unknown person monitoring her life sends emails to her friends, producers, and co-stars. These emails contain either defamatory information about her or demands for money.
In one video, Mandana shared her problem, noting that it started six years ago, since her breakup. She recounted that one account contacted her producers and colleagues to spread information about her and demand money. The situation persists to this day. Mandana expressed bewilderment as to who hates her so much and why they wish for her to have no work, money, or friends.
Four years ago, she tried to resolve this situation by hiring someone to identify the harasser. She was informed that someone had paid a professional hacker to constantly monitor her posts. The actress also claimed that all celebrities receive letters under the name 'Menaxi'. Mandana emphasized that although she left India, her friends continue to receive these letters, which she says are phishing accounts. She added that the Indian police could not help, and someone is merely trying to ruin her reputation and name.
Mandana posted screenshots of these emails in her post. In the caption, she wrote that she will no longer remain silent, as she has been subjected to constant cyberbullying, harassment, and surveillance by an unknown person for years. This person closely monitors her life and sends malicious emails to those with whom she shares personal information or maintains contact. This continues even after her move from India to Dubai.
She had previously filed several complaints regarding cybercrimes, but now decided to speak publicly about it and provide evidence. She appealed to people not to respond to such emails, not to transfer money, and not to trust their content. Instead, she suggests saving the email, taking a screenshot, and sending it to her. She stated that this constitutes harassment, and she will no longer be silent.
The screenshots shared by Mandana show insulting messages from the harasser. He accused the actress of prostitution and demanded a fine of 12 million rupees, writing that she should continue to earn money through prostitution, and the fine would increase proportionally. The letter also stated: 'Don't think I'm joking. Until you pay the money, I won't sign the sponsorship form. If you want a child, you must obey my opinion. Stop earning money the dirty way. Otherwise, your biggest mistake will be trying to give birth while having a UAE passport. Your passport gives you the right to stay in the EU visa-free for 90 days, but that does not mean you are allowed any pregnancy.'
Mandana Karimi moved from India to Dubai in May, making it her new place of residence. At that time, she explained her move due to safety concerns. However, in one interview, she clarified that the decision was not related to any single country or incident, but to the start of a new phase in her life.
