Experts advise considering Lenskart Solutions shares for high returns

Investors seeking stocks with the potential for rapid and significant growth may look at Lenskart Solutions shares, following the recommendation from the Japanese brokerage firm Nomura. Lenskart shares demonstrated strong growth on August 31, increasing by approximately 5% during trading and closing with a gain of 4.23%. Tuesday was also marked by growth, as the stock traded at ₹668.60 at the start of the trading session.

The main reasons cited for this growth are the 'buy' recommendation from Nomura and a target price of ₹888. According to Nomura, there is potential for Lenskart shares to grow by approximately 40% from the current level. This Japanese brokerage firm has recently begun covering the activities of Lenskart Solutions. Among the 23 analysts covering Lenskart, Nomura's target price of ₹888 is the highest. The broker believes that Lenskart is consistently strengthening its position in the Indian prescription glasses segment.

According to information from Lenskart, the company holds about 5% of the Indian prescription glasses market, which is largely unorganized. This figure is double the share held by other major companies in the prescription glasses category. Lenskart shares have shown confident momentum in the recent past. Over the last month, they have grown by approximately 15%, and the total profit over the year has been around 64%. The company's IPO took place in November 2025, when investors were allotted shares at a price of ₹402 per share. At listing, the price was ₹395, which was 1.74% below the issue price. However, after December 2025, the trend of Lenskart shares changed, and they began to show steady growth. In the last six months, the shares have generated substantial profits for investors.

Another significant factor driving the stock's growth is Lenskart's inclusion in the standard MSCI India index. This is expected to lead to an increase in Foreign Institutional Investor (FII) investment in the company. Lenskart's weight in the MSCI India Standard Index is projected to be around 0.3%. This could lead to the purchase of approximately 57 million shares, which is about 13 times the company's average trading volume. It is forecasted that this could attract foreign investment worth about $35.2 billion. If this forecast proves true, buying pressure on Lenskart shares may increase due to the index inclusion. This is why investors are closely monitoring the stock dynamics after its inclusion in MSCI.

If you are tracking Lenskart shares, two key triggers are currently significant. The first is the 'buy' recommendation from Nomura and the target price of ₹888. The second is the company's inclusion in the MSCI India Standard Index, which could attract potentially $35.2 billion in foreign investment. Nevertheless, the broker's target figure is only a projection of potential profit and does not guarantee it. The actual stock performance will depend on numerous factors, including market conditions, the company's financial performance, and buying activity following the index inclusion.
