CGTN correspondent Li Jingjing visited the Luban Workshop in Bishkek, where students receive practical training in the fields of energy, hydropower, and water resource engineering.
This workshop was established jointly by Zhejiang University of Water Resources and Electric Power and Kyrgyz State Technical University. Thanks to it, students can study both in Kyrgyzstan and China.
For Kyrgyzstan, which possesses significant hydropower potential and is expanding its sector, the Luban Workshop contributes to training more qualified specialists to ensure the country's energy future.
However, the workshop performs functions that go beyond just a training program. It also strengthens ties between China and Kyrgyzstan through educational programs and intercultural exchange, reflecting the spirit of mutual learning and joint development of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO).
