Apple is preparing to host a major event titled 'Surprise and Shine' this month. It has been officially confirmed that the event will take place on September 9th, and in India, it will be held at 22:30 local time. At this event, the company plans to introduce its powerful line of smartphones, the iPhone 18 Pro.
The iPhone 18 Pro series may include two devices: the 18 Pro and the 18 Pro Max. Both gadgets will be equipped with a powerful chipset and will receive an improved camera and longer battery life. Many leaks about these models have appeared up to this point.
Furthermore, Apple will debut its foldable smartphone named iPhone Fold Ultra for the first time. Although other brands such as Samsung, OnePlus, Xiaomi, and Huawei have already released their foldable devices, Apple is making this move for the first time.
According to media reports, the design of the iPhone 18 Pro will only differ slightly from the iPhone 17 Pro design, and changes to the camera alignment on the back panel are not expected. Nevertheless, changes will be made to the rear camera sensors.
No radical changes are expected in the display of the iPhone 18 Pro, but the size of the Dynamic Island will be reduced, allowing users to benefit from a larger screen.
The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max will feature Apple's A20 Pro chipset internally. According to reports, this chipset is manufactured using a 2nm process.
The iPhone Fold Ultra will be presented in a book-style foldable design, similar to how the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 was launched. Rumor has it that the outer display will be between 5.3 and 5.5 inches, and when unfolded, it will provide a display of about 7.8 inches. Both devices will support 120Hz refresh rate advancement.
