Following its success on streaming platforms, the world of Mirzapur is returning to the big screens. The film 'Mirzapur' is set to be released soon, generating significant interest among viewers familiar with this popular web series. The theatrical release of the series part is guaranteed to cause a stir.
Tickets for 'Mirzapur' began selling via advance booking nationwide on August 31st. Ticket prices vary: in some locations, they start as low as 149 rupees, but some premium screenings cost significantly more. For instance, at the largest mall, DLF in Noida, within the Delhi-NCR zone, one evening ticket cost up to 1800 rupees. In Mumbai and other cities, general tickets are priced approximately between 149 and 500 rupees.
The film 'Mirzapur' is also expected to be a box office hit. According to Sakencilk, the net collection on the first day could range from 15 to 20 crore rupees. This could mark the biggest launch in the careers of actors Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, and Divyendu Sharma. Although final figures have not been confirmed, pre-sales have just begun, and the day-of-release collection will determine the film's success.
Regarding the plot, 'Mirzapur' is based on events between episodes 6 and 7 of the series. Actor Ali Fazal stated that new characters have been introduced in the film, expanding the world of Mirzapur. Watching the film is becoming essential because these new characters will later be connected to the main series.
All the original characters who were killed in the series have returned to the cast of 'Mirzapur'. Divyendu Sharma, Abhishek Banerjee, and Kulbhushan Kharbanda will reprise their roles. The film was directed by Gurmeet Singh and produced by Farhan Akhtar.
