The dream of talented students in the state of Madhya Pradesh to connect with modern technologies and digital education is about to come true. The Chief Minister of the state, Mohan Yadav, will transfer 25 thousand rupees to each of approximately 122 thousand talented students into their accounts on September 1st for the purchase of laptops through a one-click mechanism.
This regional event will take place at the Kushabhau Thakre International Convention Centre in Bhopal city. The Government of Madhya Pradesh is implementing the 'Talented Student Encouragement Program' through the School Education Department with the aim of motivating students and their integration into digital resources.
Students who scored 75 percent or more in their 12th-grade exams on the first attempt are participating in this program. Each eligible student will receive financial assistance of 25,000 rupees directly into their bank account. This year, the government is directing a total amount of 304.985 million rupees to the accounts of over 1.22 lakh students.
This state government initiative is considered an important step towards ensuring that high-potential students have the necessary technical means to pursue higher education. After receiving laptops, students will be able to easily utilize online learning, e-learning, digital study materials, preparation for competitive exams, and other technical resources.
