A situation causing concern in the Kiratpur area of Bijaunaur district became known after a video appeared on social media. One student posted a video on Instagram detailing his problems and stating his intention to commit suicide within the next two days.
The student blamed the school administration and school manager Rajiv Chauhan for his condition. His complaint was that he had been denied entry to the school for several days. In the video, he claimed that the school was hinting at a romantic relationship between him and one of the teachers, which the student categorically denied, insisting that he had no such ties with the teachers and that false information was being spread about him.
After publishing the video on Instagram, where he allegedly warned of possible suicide within two days, he also named Rajiv Chauhan and SM Academy as responsible for his supposed death. Furthermore, he sent a letter to the Directorate of Inspectorate of Schools (DIOS) via social media to present his problem.
When Aajtak contacted the school manager Rajiv Chauhan, he stated that the accusations made by the student were completely unfounded. The manager emphasized that there was no basis for talk of a romantic relationship with a teacher. According to Rajiv Chauhan, the school had previously issued several notices due to the student's inappropriate behavior, and the school possessed written evidence of the reasons for his denial of re-enrollment. He noted that the school's goal is to maintain a positive atmosphere for all students, and if this atmosphere is attempted to be disrupted, the school takes strict measures.
The Bijaunaur Superintendent of Police (SP), Keke Bishnoi, also provided information on the matter. He reported that the incident came to his attention. As soon as the student's video reached his phone, he directed the police to the child's home. Following this, a conversation took place between both parties. According to the SP, some naive misunderstandings occurred, and the conflict was resolved after the discussion, allowing the student to re-enroll in the same school.
It is reported that the student also wrote to DIOS via Instagram, explaining his problem related to being denied entry to the school and the false allegations against him. After publicly voicing his issue through social media, the police arrived at his home to mediate between both parties. According to the SP, following these negotiations, the student was granted re-enrollment in the same school.
Overall, the views of the student and the school management differ. The student claims that he was denied entry to the school and was targeted based on false rumors about a romantic relationship with a teacher. Meanwhile, the school manager refutes the allegations concerning the teacher and points out that previous notices were issued due to the student's misconduct, and the reasons for the denial of enrollment are documented. On the other hand, the student used social media to highlight his problem and warn of suicide.
According to the Bijaunaur SP, after police intervention and negotiations between the parties, the student was granted re-enrollment in the same school. The factual situation in this case can only be clarified after conducting a proper investigation based on the student's statements and the school management's responses.
