The Tax Committee of Uzbekistan has reached agreements with British universities regarding the training of specialists and the development of curricula in the field of taxation. These agreements were signed on the first day of the committee's working trip to Great Britain.
According to the agreement with the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), a faculty specializing in the shadow economy will be opened at the Higher School of Tax Service. Additionally, twenty Uzbek specialists will be able to undergo internships in Great Britain.
Another area of cooperation is Hall Business School. Together with this British institution, Uzbekistan intends to organize specialized training courses on issues related to the shadow economy and the digitalization of the tax system.
The Tax Committee noted that the goal of these agreements is to study advanced international experience and subsequently implement it into national practice. The cooperation will also focus on training a new generation of specialists for the tax sector of Uzbekistan.
