During the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Uzbekistan, elements of culture and poetry were displayed in addition to diplomatic meetings. At an informal dinner organized by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the Kuksaroy Palace in Tashkent, a special musical program dedicated to Modi's poem 'Abhi to suraj ugha hai' was presented.
After this, students from the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies presented their renditions of Modi's poems in Hindi and Uzbek to the Prime Minister. Three poems were presented.
Fourth-year student Keldiorov Dilshukhab recited the poem 'Abhi to suraj ugha hai' in Hindi, while student Dilshoda Juraboyeva presented its Uzbek translation. The poem 'Nae bharat ke nae sankalp' was also presented to Modi, which Otabek Amirov read in Hindi, and Ikromkhuja Sadillayev presented its Uzbek translation. The third poem, 'Manavta ko kaxin na lag jai dag,' focused on the message of compassion, peace, and humanity, was read by student Orzu Kuldosheva, and her Uzbek translation was presented by Fayoza Abdurasulova.
The audience's reaction during these performances became part of the special moments of Modi's visit. The university noted that this demonstrates cultural and educational ties between India and Uzbekistan.
