In the reality show 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?' (KBC), Amitabh Bachchan allows participants to share not only their achievements but also stories from their personal lives. Among these stories, Vishal Premchand Rathore, a laborer, shared his story, which brought tears to everyone present.
Vishal Premchand Rathore, a resident of Maharashtra, took the hot seat and demonstrated excellent play while also recounting his difficulties. He stated that he is a manual laborer and earns only 500–600 rupees per day. When work is unavailable, he has to spend time idle.
When Vishal's father saw his son playing on such a big stage, he burst into tears. He appealed to Amitabh Bachchan, with his hands clasped, asking for any small job for his son that could help them escape poverty in old age.
In another video, Vishal explained that he fears holidays. He goes out to earn money every day, and if he cannot find work on a certain day, he takes an unpaid day off.
When asked by Amitabh whether he goes to work alone, he answered negatively. He and his father go together. Sometimes they have to wait until one o'clock, but work is still not found. His mother also works, cleaning floors in a cafeteria. Vishal's parents and two sisters were present during the show. As Vishal spoke about the struggle of his life, everyone present cried.
Amitabh Bachchan asked Vishal what he would give his father if he had the opportunity. Vishal sadly replied that he had never even bought his father clothes. He noted that children want to buy good things for their parents during holidays, but he hasn't been able to do so yet. They have a small house in the village that needs renovation. Furthermore, his sisters are studying, and he wants them to study well, while he himself could focus on his studies.
Vishal's story of struggle and pain touched the hearts of everyone in the studio, and Amitabh Bachchan appeared very moved.
