The India Post has issued a notification regarding the recruitment of young people with a secondary school certificate (10th grade) for the position of Rural Postal Worker (Gramin Dak Sevak). A total of 23,757 positions will be filled.
Although the notification was published on August 27, the registration process begins today. The deadline for fee payment is set for September 2, and the application submission process will last until September 21.
Candidates aged between 18 and 40 years can apply for these positions. A mandatory requirement is having a 10th-grade certificate with knowledge of mathematics and English, as well as knowledge of the local language.
After selection, selected candidates will receive a salary: from 12,000 to 29,380 rupees per month for BPM, and from 10,000 to 24,470 rupees for ABPM and postal servants.
The window for one-time registration for rural postal worker recruitment will be open from August 31 to September 19. The online application and fee payment process will start on September 2 at 17:00 and end on September 21 at 17:00.
Furthermore, if a candidate makes an error while filling out the form, they will be able to make corrections to their application on September 23 and 24.
Regarding the selection process, there will be no examination. The merit list will be formed based on the candidates' marks in the 10th grade.
