Along the Northern Cape coastline, forecasts indicate fresh to strong southerly to south-easterly winds. The Western Cape will start the morning partly cloudy over its eastern areas, subsequently becoming fine and cold to cool. Coastal winds there are expected to be light to moderate south-westerly, while the west coast may encounter moderate to fresh south-easterly winds, with a moderate UVB sunburn index.
The western part of the Eastern Cape will be partly cloudy and cool, featuring morning rain along the coast east of Algoa Bay. The eastern half of this province is projected to be cloudy and cool to cold, with rain occurring in spots south of the escarpment. Weather conditions are anticipated to clear from the west starting in the late morning.
KwaZulu-Natal will experience morning and evening fog patches inland. Otherwise, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy and cool to warm, with scattered showers and rain in the extreme southeast, alongside isolated showers elsewhere, barring the extreme northwest. Along the KwaZulu-Natal coast, winds will be light to moderate from the west to the northwest, shifting to moderate easterly to north-easterly directions around midday.
