The new production complex of the SORA CAKE AND BAKERY brand has started operations in the Namangan region of Uzbekistan, in the Davlatabad district, on the eve of the country's 35th anniversary of independence. According to the press service of the Davlatabad district administration, the investment cost of this project amounts to 10 billion soms.
The facility is located in the youth small industrial zone of the Davlatabad district. The production line is equipped with modern equipment supplied from China, Turkey, and Italy.
The company produces over thirty types of confectionery products. The enterprise's capacity allows for the annual production of goods worth up to 2 billion soms. Furthermore, the project contributes to the creation of new jobs, as the company plans to provide permanent employment for 60 people in the future.
As part of its further development, the company intends to enter foreign markets, and its export volume is expected to reach approximately 1 million US dollars.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Governor of the Namangan region, Shavkatjon Abdurazzakov, representatives of the older generation, entrepreneurs, youth, and the public. Participants inspected the production process and the operation of the facility, and also held a meeting with entrepreneurs. During the discussion, proposals were put forward for further increasing production capacity.
This project is aimed at developing production in the region, creating new jobs, and increasing the export potential of the Namangan region.
