Ten hotels in the Khorezm region of Uzbekistan received subsidies totaling 7.244 billion sums in 2026. These funds were allocated as part of measures aimed at increasing the region's tourism potential, according to the Tourism Administration of Uzbekistan.
The largest subsidy amounts were distributed between the Khiva Residence Hotel, which received 2.64 billion sums, and Parvoz, which received 2.36 billion sums. Funds were also allocated to the Turkezm hotel (580 million sums), Kamil Palace (500 million sums), and Ibrohim Xo‘ja (400 million sums).
Other recipients of support included Sahro (300 million sums), Farohat ona (200 million sums), Saroy Khiva (150 million sums), Nova (60 million sums), and Sherline (54 million sums).
One positive outcome of this financial assistance was the opening of the Ibrohim Xo‘ja hotel, which began operations before the celebration of Uzbekistan's 35th anniversary of independence.
The subsidies are intended for the further improvement of hotel infrastructure in the Khorezm region and the creation of conditions for expanding the region's tourism opportunities. Furthermore, these financial support measures are designed to improve the stay conditions for tourists and support entrepreneurial activity in the tourism sector.
