New Social Services Center Opened in Yunusabad District of Tashkent

A new Territorial Center for Social Services has opened in the Yunusabad district of Tashkent, providing residents with comprehensive social, rehabilitation, and care services in one location.

Social Services Opened in Yunusabad, Tashkent

The center offers over ten types of free services, including rehabilitation for adults and children, day care, early intervention, and psychosocial rehabilitation. Additionally, the center has implemented day care and rehabilitation services for adults based on Japanese experience.

This Territorial Center is designed to serve approximately 10,000 people annually. Its creation aims to improve the accessibility of social services and provide necessary assistance in a convenient and comprehensive format.

Currently, centers of this new format are operating in cities such as Andijan, Jizzakh, Nurafshan, Shayxantahur, and Yunusabad. It is planned to open another 20 centers during 2026, followed by another 70 in the next two years.

The development of this network is intended to ensure that the population has more convenient access to social support, rehabilitation, and care services.
