The musical fountain located in New Tashkent has won two world records recognized by the Guinness organization. It has become the tallest open musical fountain in the world and set a record for the size of the projection on a circular water surface.

These achievements were officially announced by the Directorate for the Construction of New Tashkent under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan. The height of this fountain is 232.69 meters, which exceeds the previous world record of 204.7 meters held by a fountain in Jiangsu province, China.

The second record set relates to the projection on a circular water screen with an area of 2617.23 square meters. Previously, the maximum area for this type of projection was 2400 square meters.

The certificates confirming both achievements were presented by official Guinness judge Miggy Lo. The project for the construction of the fountain complex in New Tashkent was presented to the President of Uzbekistan in March 2026.
