After the failure of 'Bantwara 1947', Sunny Deol and Rajkumar Santoshi reunite for 'Gatak Ghus Ke Marega'

Following the commercial failure of the film 'Bantwara 1947', Sunny Deol and Rajkumar Santoshi are planning to collaborate again. The film, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, failed to resonate with the public despite positive critical reviews. Although the joint work of these actors and director was previously very successful, the series was interrupted by 'Bantwara.'

Despite this, their friendship remains strong. Rajkumar Santoshi announced work on a new project with Sunny Deol, tentatively titled 'Gatak Ghus Ke Marega'. This title is reminiscent of the cult film 'Gatak' from the 90s, but the director clarified that it is not a sequel, but a story utilizing characters from the film 'Gatak.'

In an interview with the news agency PTI, Rajkumar Santoshi stated that they are working on several scripts and will soon announce the official start of production. He emphasized that this new film will feature a lot of action, and its title is 'Gatak Ghus Ke Marega'. Although it is not a continuation of 'Gatak', the same character will appear in the plot, and the action will take place in Bengaluru.

Santoshi added that Sunny Deol's fans will be pleased with this new work, as it combines powerful action, sharp dialogues, and emotional moments. Furthermore, Sunny is working on two or three other projects; one of them involves a role as a Sardar living in America and will also be an action-drama.

Currently, Sunny Deol is among the Bollywood actors whose films regularly receive sequels. In addition to 'Ramayana Part 1' and 'Ramayana Part 2', he is also working on the film 'Jatt 2'. He also has the film 'Gabbar', the trailer for which was released in theaters simultaneously with 'Bantwara 1947'. Moreover, he is starring in a film produced by Farhan Akhtar. It is expected that audiences will see many diverse films featuring Sunny Deol over the next two years.
