Most flights in the United Arab Emirates are operating normally, with national carriers beginning to open new routes in response to growing demand. Despite the ongoing conflict between the US and Iran disrupting some regional routes, several UAE airlines are maintaining flights to Persian Gulf countries and even adding new international destinations.
Etihad Airways has introduced new destinations, including Calgary, while Emirates plans to start daily flights to Helsinki in October. The latest flight updates are provided below.
Abu Dhabi to Bahrain Route
Etihad operates 3-4 daily flights to Bahrain International Airport, including flights EY641, EY643, EY647, and EY645.
Abu Dhabi to Kuwait Route
After suspending all flights due to disruptions, Etihad has resumed the daily flight EY653 to Kuwait.
Dubai to Bahrain Route
Flight EK839 is scheduled for today and tomorrow, while EK837 is cancelled for the same period.
Dubai to Kuwait Route
Flight EK857 to Kuwait is scheduled to operate as usual.
Dubai to Bahrain Route
Flights FZ 029, FZ 023, and FZ 021 will operate normally today and tomorrow.
Dubai to Kuwait Route
Flight FZ 063 to Kuwait will operate according to schedule today and tomorrow.
Sharjah to Bahrain Route
Flight G9107 to Bahrain is cancelled for today and tomorrow, but flights G9101, G9103, and G9105 are scheduled for daily operation.
Sharjah to Kuwait Route
Flights G9068 and G9124 to Kuwait are cancelled for today and tomorrow, while G9121 is scheduled to fly on these days.
Sharjah to Doha Route
Flights G9081 and G9138 to Doha are cancelled for tomorrow, and other flights should operate according to the schedule.
The recent escalation of tensions over the past week has forced many international carriers to extend flight suspensions until the end of the current year or even into the next. Nevertheless, some airlines continue their operations in the UAE and throughout the Persian Gulf region.
Air France resumed flights to Dubai and Riyadh on August 25, while flights to Beirut remain suspended until September 1.
