The Swiss newspaper Blick reported on its portal that the shots were fired shortly before three in the morning (which corresponds to two in Lisbon) near the annual techno festival 'Aarauer Rave', which gathered about 3500 participants at the racecourse in Aarau.
A police representative, Vanessa Rumpold, confirmed to the newspaper that the incident took place at the racecourse. She added that the police can currently confirm that several shots were fired in the crowd.
According to the newspaper, one eyewitness reported hearing a burst of gunfire.
