Film 'Hanuman ANSH' earned 27.38 crore rupees despite being made for 2 crore

The film 'Hanuman ANSH', which premiered in theaters on August 7, 2026, demonstrated unexpected success despite the lack of prior advertising or discussion. On its opening day, the film brought in only 10 lakh rupees, and the first two weeks seemed like a failure, earning just 1.48 crore rupees.

However, the situation changed sharply in the third week when the film began to gain popularity and earned 10.40 crore rupees. According to Sakalik, just on Friday of the fourth week, the film generated 6.25 crore rupees, and on Saturday, 9.25 crore rupees. Thus, over 23 days in India, the film's total revenue reached 27.38 crore rupees.

The film was shot on a relatively small budget—only 2 crore rupees. Achieving a revenue of 27.38 crore rupees allows it to be classified as a superhit or blockbuster. The film's plot is based on the life of Nim Karoli Baba, who passed away in September 1973. His ashram is located in Vrindavan (UP).

It is said that famous personalities such as Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, Virat Kohli, and Anushka Sharma are his followers and draw inspiration from his teachings. Social media posts have emerged claiming that ticket sales for 'Hanuman ANSH' and 'Toxic' on Bookmyshow are approximately equal.

Vishal Chaturvedi directed the film, and Shobhanav Satya played Maharaj Ji. Vikhan Shej, Chandan Ke Anand, Purnima Tiwari, Anil Rastogi, Gulshan Pandey, Bhagavandas Patel, and Rajiv Mishra were also among the cast of 'Hanuman ANSH'. The creators of the film appear very pleased with the income received. Shobhanav Satya expressed gratitude to the audience for the immense support of the film through his social media posts.

Perhaps this is the miracle of Nim Karoli Baba that helped save his film from failure, as it was initially considered unsuccessful and was planned to be withdrawn from theaters. The fact that the film earned twice what was expected seems incredible.
