UAE Lottery announced winning numbers and awarded 50,000 dirham prize to three participants

Several residents of the UAE noted the long weekend after learning the results of the latest Lucky Day Draw from the UAE Lottery. The draw took place on August 29, and the winning numbers for the Days section in draw No. 260829 were announced.

The winning numbers for the Days section were 8, 14, 13, 23, 20, and 9, and the lucky number in the Months section was 7. Additionally, three participants each received 50,000 dirhams in the Lucky Chance lottery. The winning IDs of these participants are CU7141172, AJ0816047, and BL3617165. In total, these three winners received a prize fund of 150,000 dirhams.

Lucky Day draws are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 21:30, giving participants a chance to win the grand prize of 30 million dirhams if they match all six numbers and the lucky number. There is also a second prize of 5 million dirhams for matching all six main numbers, and participants who match five numbers and the lucky number can win 100,000 dirhams.

Each draw guarantees three Lucky Chance winners, each receiving 50,000 dirhams. The UAE Lottery operates in accordance with the rules of the General Commission for Gambling Regulation (GCGRA) and promotes responsible gaming among participants.

In a previous draw in August, 5,579 participants won prizes, one of whom received 100,000 dirhams after matching five numbers in the Days section and the Months lucky number. Since the launch of the revised format in April 2026, the UAE Lottery has already awarded two grand prize winners: a resident of Nepal from Abu Dhabi and a 52-year-old Indian expatriate. These two men won within five weeks of each other.

During a live broadcast, the Indian expatriate Hariharan Sekar shared his experience of winning 100,000 dirhams. Hariharan, who regularly used the Botim super-app, purchased a UAE Lottery ticket through this application. After work, he checked his app and saw a pop-up congratulating him on the win. He stated that he called the customer service center to reconfirm his win. He also added that he chose the numbers based on the birth dates and months of his daughter, wife, and father.

A 38-year-old Filipino citizen residing in Dubai has become the latest winner of the UAE lottery, receiving a prize of 5 million dirhams. She is the third player in the history of the lottery to win the second prize of 5 million dirhams.

When Jenn Ariane Garceles first realized that her ticket had won her a 5 million dirham prize, she found it difficult to grasp the scale of the sum. She shared that initially she could not comprehend it and had to ask her husband how many zeros there were.

The results were announced on Wednesday evening, and the winner's name was revealed on Thursday. The lottery operator stated that she is the third participant to receive the second prize of 5 million dirhams. Garceles, who is a Filipino citizen living in Dubai, joins a small group of players who have received the same prize of 5 million dirhams.

According to the lottery operator, two main prizes of 30 million dirhams were awarded five weeks before Garceles's win. Together, these three major wins amounted to 65 million dirhams, distributed over approximately three months. The UAE lottery announced that since the launch of Lucky Day, it has distributed over 280 million dirhams in prizes.

A representative of the UAE lottery noted that the latest result continues a streak of major wins. The UAE lottery is managed by The Game LLC and regulated by the General Commission for Commerce and Gaming (GCGRA), the federal body responsible for regulating and supervising commercial gaming activities in the UAE.
