Iran defeated France with a score of 3:1 (25-18, 25-15, 22-25, 25-12) on Saturday, winning the FIVB U17 World Championship title for 2026.
Earlier that day, Brazil beat Argentina with a score of 3:1 (21–25, 25–17, 25–18, 25–13) and won the bronze medal.
The 2026 U17 Men's Volleyball World Championship was the second edition of this tournament. It is held every two years and is an international youth volleyball championship in which men's national teams under 17 from member countries of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB), the global governing body of the sport, participate.
The competition took place in Doha, Qatar, from August 19 to 29. Initially, 24 teams were planned to participate, but the number of participants was ultimately reduced to 20 after some teams withdrew.
