Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi leveled accusations against certain circles within the Trump administration. He claims that these elements are using 'gullible media' to manipulate energy prices for personal gain.
Araghchi stated that Iranian intelligence has uncovered 'large attempts to distort energy markets.' In a post on the social network X, he wrote that 'elements of the US government use gullible media to influence prices for personal gain and to keep the US president in a losing war.'
Furthermore, the minister accused 'actors linked to Israel' of supporting the war by promoting 'optimistic assessments.' Araghchi added that 'US consumers feel the real picture.'
He emphasized that intelligence data indicates significant efforts to manipulate energy markets, as well as the use of US government elements of the media to influence prices for selfish purposes so that the US president remains involved in a losing war. It was also noted that actors linked to Israel contribute to the war by presenting rosy assessments.
