Uzbekistan's foreign trade volume grew by 8% in January-July 2026

The National Statistics Committee reports that Uzbekistan's foreign trade volume in January-July 2026 reached $49.5 billion, which is 8.1% higher than the figure for the same period in 2025, or $3.7 billion more.

The main growth in trade volume was driven by imports, while exports decreased by 3.6% compared to the corresponding period last year.

According to the data, exports amounted to $19.9 billion (-3.6%), and imports reached $29.6 billion (+17.8%). As a result, a negative balance of $9.7 billion was recorded.

Moreover, if gold is excluded, the export of goods increased by 27.7% compared to last year and amounted to $9.8 billion. It was also noted that the negative balance was $9.7 billion.
