Review of the show 'Bhojpuri Bawaal': Critics note an excess of family dramas and a focus on Pawan Singh's image

In the Bollywood industry, where big stars gather, vibrant entertainment is often lacking. When the reality show 'Bhojpuri Bawaal' was announced, it was expected to set new rating records. However, despite its star-studded cast, the show failed to impress, turning into an outdated and cheap imitation of 'Desi Bling.'

The main flaw of the program is that it completely deviated from its stated course. Instead of providing viewers with high-energy drama and entertainment, the creators turned 'Bhojpuri Bawaal' into a personal project to enhance the image of 'Power Star' Pawan Singh. Rather than offering content, Pawan Singh focused his efforts on justifying past mistakes and controversies, trying to prove his innocence.

During the show, Pawan Singh displayed emotional scenes, involving his mother. While the attempt to present himself as an exemplary and pious son through caring for his mother looks positive, he might have forgotten that the audience came to watch a real reality show, not a family drama.

At the beginning of the show, Tej Pratap Yadav's unusual Bihari style and views on his personal life caused surprise. However, the constant tears over family disagreements and grief became tiresome for viewers. He frequently discussed his fractured relationship with his father and brothers, which quickly became boring. Nevertheless, moments when he flirted with Mallika Sherawat or played the flute brought some freshness and entertainment, allowing viewers to enjoy his fun side outside of political topics.

Kajal Raghwani started her participation in the show strongly, but now she constantly uses the 'victim card' in every episode. Her accusations that she is being deprived of work by Nirahua, Pawan Singh, and Amrapali, along with her portrayal of herself as unhappy, have become annoying. On the other hand, Amrapali Dubey established herself as the most balanced and strong participant of the entire show. She won the hearts of the viewers with her strong personality, avoiding unnecessary drama and tears.

When the Bhojpuri industry stars failed to make their show successful, the creators turned to Indian television stars to boost ratings. They tried to add an element of entertainment by using the comedy of Bharti Singh, Krishna Abhishek, and Manisha Rani. Furthermore, a final step was taken—bringing in figures like Jannat Zubair and Radhe Maa to attract viewership. These factors helped the show survive, but they could not turn it into a blockbuster.

'Bhojpuri Bawaal' is a weak dramatic show based on the names of big stars. If you are interested in Bhojpuri industry gossip and scenes of star crying, you can watch this show once. But if you are expecting meaningful, sharp, and original entertainment, this show will only lead to disappointment.

Actor Guddu Pandit revealed the reason for creating the film Mirzapur after the series where dead characters returned

The series Mirzapur is enjoying huge popularity on Amazon Prime Video, gathering numerous views and positive reviews. The series consisted of three successful seasons, and many of its characters are still viral memes on social media. Now, the atmosphere of Mirzapur is being brought to the big screen.

Farhan Akhtar, who served as the show's producer, is preparing the film 'Mirzapur: The Movie' with Amazon MGM Studios. In it, characters whose stories were concluded within the series reappear. Viewers will see iconic heroes such as Munna Bhaiya, Bauji, and Compounder.

A number of questions have arisen surrounding the film 'Mirzapur: The Movie,' particularly regarding the time frame in which its plot unfolds. Since the film features the return of deceased characters, the purpose of this picture confuses viewers. Ali Fazal provided clarification on this during an interview with Mirchi Plus.

The actor who played Guddu Pandit stated that the film's story begins from one aspect of the first season of Mirzapur. He specified: 'We took the story from the middle of episodes 6-7, where someone goes to another world and returns. But the most interesting thing is that other characters are involved in the story of Mirzapur. If we want to develop Mirzapur, this film is indispensable. This film is extremely important and represents a very big experiment conducted with any show in the last 10 years. This is happening for the first time in India. You cannot miss the film Mirzapur, otherwise you won't be able to connect with the upcoming seasons.'

Divyendu Sharma, who was present with Ali Fazal, also noted that even those who have not watched the series Mirzapur can watch this film, as they will not need knowledge of the characters' background. As for the film itself, it is directed by Gurmit Singh, the creator of the series.

Sunil Pal accused the show of humiliation: Artist stated he was used in the program

Comedian Sunil Pal has criticized the show 'The Great Indian Kapil Show' on Netflix. After being invited as a guest, he expressed regret about his participation in the program.

In May, Sunil Pal participated in an episode of 'The Great Indian Kapil Show,' which also featured Ravi Rana and Ranveer Allahabadia. Pal explained his presence by saying it was Kapil's show, and he was invited as a friend because he had previously attended Kapil's programs in a similar format. However, he did not expect to be made into a joke.

During his performance, Pal noted that he was informed he would be on the show with Ranveer Allahabadia and Ravi Rana. Since it was stand-up comedy, he prepared material for his performance. Nevertheless, there was no room for his act on stage; instead, there was a regular conversation. He considered this a one-sided game, and even Archana Puran Singh, known for her cheerful disposition, did not laugh at his jokes.

Pal believes that the show was directed to make one of the participants the hero, and this happened. He also mentioned his interaction with Ravi Rana behind the scenes, noting that he does not understand his behavior. He added that Ravi Rana does not always listen to him but shows respect, and that disagreements arise between them only because he does not understand his point of view, with no other conflicts existing.

Earlier, in June, Sunil Pal publicly criticized Ravi Rana, mentioning Alia Bhatt in his Facebook post. Before that, in April, Ravi Rana shared his opinion of Sunil Pal during a conversation with 'Chalchitra Talks.' At that time, he stated that he does not think much about Sunil Pal and believes that criticism of anyone often indicates personal problems or insecurity on the part of the critic. He added that he feels sorry for the person who has not found peace of mind.

Despite the mutual jabs between Sunil and Ravi, they collaborated on an advertising project in January. Currently, while Ravi Rana is participating in 'India's Got Talent 2,' Sunil Pal is being considered for participation in 'Big Boss 20,' although official confirmation of his participation has not yet been made.
