Fans of the reality show Tropika Island of Treasure may soon await the return of their favorite competition, as Season 12 is scheduled for September 23rd. The show will once again present viewers with new challenges, a star-studded cast, and exciting competitions.
The new season will take place on the island of Réunion, where celebrities and ordinary contestants will compete in a series of physical and mental tasks to win the treasure. These challenges will test the strength, endurance, strategic thinking, teamwork, and determination of the participants, while unexpected plot twists are anticipated.
Among the invited celebrities are Nadia Nakai, Kaster Semenya, François Hugard, Leandi du Randt, Sandile Malangu, Amanda du Pont, Lalela Mswane, and Wezeman Mnkube. Eight of these stars will be grouped with ordinary people whose names will be revealed later.
Zanele Potlwa will once again host the show, who was nominated for the SAFTA award for best television presenter in the previous season. The island of Réunion will serve as the backdrop for this new installment, offering volcanic landscapes, mountains, turquoise waters, and local culture, adding an element of adventure.

The premiere of Tropika Island of Treasure Season 12 will take place on Wednesday, September 23rd, at 9:00 PM on SABC 1, with a rerun scheduled for Thursday, September 24th, at 6:00 PM on S3.
