According to data from the National Statistical Committee of Uzbekistan, the volume of natural gas production in Uzbekistan for January-July 2026 was 21.6 billion cubic meters. This figure shows a decrease of 15.0% compared to 25.4 billion cubic meters registered for the same period in 2025.
Additionally, a decrease in crude oil production was noted, which reached 368,700 tons, compared to 378,800 tons in January-July 2025, corresponding to a drop of 2.7%. Gas condensate production also decreased by 15.1%, amounting to 567,500 tons versus 667,900 tons the previous year.
Coal production during the period from January to July 2026 reached 3.5 million tons, which is 12.5% less than 4.0 million tons in the corresponding period last year. However, unlike the decline in raw material extraction, the production of petroleum products showed growth.
The volume of diesel fuel production increased by 1.4%, reaching 683,400 tons compared to 673,700 tons in January-July 2025. Gasoline production for passenger cars amounted to 731,900 tons, which is 8.9% higher than the 672,100 tons produced the previous year. An increase in the output of automotive engines was also noted: 137,600 units were manufactured during the reporting period compared to 131,800 units the previous year, representing a growth of 4.4%.
