According to data from the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in the first seven months of 2026, Uzbekistan exported 1.2839 million tons of fruits and vegetables, with a total value of $1.0254 billion.
The physical volume of exports increased by 0.4% compared to the same period in 2025, when the country sent 1.2785 million tons. However, revenue decreased by 3.9% relative to $1.0666 billion recorded in January-July 2025. Fruits and vegetables accounted for 5.1% of Uzbekistan's total exports during this period.
Fruit Export Dynamics
The export of fruits in physical terms decreased from 290,800 tons to 251,000 tons, and the total income from fruits slightly decreased from $330.8 million to $308.0 million. In the fruit segment, peach exports grew from 87,900 tons to 92,300 tons, generating $91.7 million compared to the previous $80.5 million. Dried grape shipments decreased from 54,600 tons to 51,600 tons.
Sweet cherry exports fell from 34,300 tons to 25,200 tons, and apricot shipments dropped from 61,000 tons to 26,400 tons. Meanwhile, fresh grape export volumes changed from 29,500 tons to 37,800 tons, and grape export revenue increased from $24.9 million to $28.9 million. Exports of dried prune decreased in volume from 23,500 tons to 17,700 tons, while maintaining revenue at $33.0 million.
Vegetable Export Growth
Vegetable exports expanded from 484,200 tons to 539,600 tons, and revenues grew from $165.9 million to $200.5 million. The main driver of growth was onion shipments, which increased from 284,000 tons to 304,100 tons, with revenue rising from $79.7 million to $89.3 million. Cabbage exports increased from 126,900 tons to 139,400 tons, and tomato exports grew from 30,800 tons to 33,000 tons. Shipments of carrots also increased from 39,200 tons to 57,500 tons, and garlic increased from 3,400 tons to 5,600 tons.
Among other agricultural categories, the volumes of melon and watermelon exports slightly decreased from 175,700 tons to 173,900 tons, although revenue increased from $41.9 million to $55.1 million. Peanut and nut exports changed from 13,100 tons to 13,300 tons, and revenues decreased from $31.2 million to $30.3 million. Mung bean exports increased from 33,600 tons to 35,700 tons, with revenue growing from $32.1 million to $33.9 million.
