Venture capital investments in Indian startups slightly increased during the week of August 22 to 28

Venture funding for Indian startups showed a slight increase in the last week of August. This growth was driven by medium-sized deals against a generally sluggish investment climate.

The total amount of funds raised this week reached $245 million across 27 deals, exceeding the $187 million raised in the previous week.

During the first three weeks of August, deals worth about $100 million were observed, including River Mobility ($120 million), Yulu ($93 million), and Navi ($100 million). However, no such large deals were recorded in the last week of the month.

This week, investments were distributed across various sectors, such as coffee brands, aerospace, and electric vehicles.

Nevertheless, the overall trend of funding for Indian startups remains moderate, and the situation is not expected to change in the near future.
