RSS Head Mohan Bhagwat visited the ISKCON temple in New York, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary, during his visit to the city. During this visit, he participated in an initiative to distribute food to homeless people and delivered a speech on the significance of Krishna consciousness in overcoming disagreements and divisions.
Goranga Das noted that Swami Prabhupada played a key role in spreading Sanatana Dharma across various regions of the world.
In his message, Bhagwat expressed gratitude to everyone who organized this inspiring event, calling the spiritual heritage an 'unparalleled gift of Shri Krishna's consciousness.'
A post on the social network X indicated that Bhagwat placed a garland on Srila Prabhupada and inaugurated the distribution of a hundred thousand portions of food as part of the 'Zero Hunger New York' initiative at the Bhakti Center.
The Minister of Communications and Commissioner of the governing body of ISKCON, Anuttama Das, also welcomed Bhagwat's visit.
