Some universities offer students the option to apply based on 12th-grade results, bypassing CUET

Not only Delhi University announced filling vacant seats by admitting students based on 12th-grade scores. However, several other universities have also invited applicants to apply for such admission. This decision may be due to various reasons. If a student did not take the CUET exam or was unable to pass it for any reason, they should not worry, as this is good news for them. It is important to note that admission will be based on 12th-grade results, not CUET.

Let's look at which specific universities are on this list and until what date students can submit applications.

It is reported that Ishwar Saran Degree College, part of Allahabad University, initially decided to include in the admission process students who had not taken the CUET for the BSc Math course. The college has now announced this opportunity for students for the first year of BA as well. The process for this started on August 28. Nevertheless, only students who have already registered can register at this college.

Furthermore, Allahabad Degree College (ADC) itself has announced a second chance for students. The college will begin admissions for BA and BSc courses on August 31. Admission to BA is without the requirement of CUET. As for BSc, the admission opportunity is provided to candidates under quotas: athletes, persons with disabilities, those displaced from Kashmir, and residents of hilly areas, provided they pass the CUET.

Allahabad University has also published the qualifying scores for the BA and BACC Math courses. Students who have been allotted seats must complete the enrollment procedure and pay the registration fee by 10 AM on August 31.

The qualifying scores are as follows:

  • BA (General Category): from 439 to 430 marks
  • BA (EWS): from 365 to 360 marks
  • BA (OBC): from 369 to 361 marks
  • BA (SC): from 317 to 308 marks

For BSc Mathematics, the qualifying scores are: General Category — from 412.75 to 414.50; OBC — from 364.50 to 367; EWS — from 372 to 376; SC — from 279 to 282.

Qualifying scores for BAFM have also been announced: for the unreserved category — 660.13 marks, for OBC — 621.19 marks, and for SC — 503.66 marks.

Hemavati Nandan Baguna University has also decided to give a second chance to students who were unable to take the CUET exam. Students can register for admission until August 31.
