Brazil is actively working to attract a larger number of visitors from China, and officials note that these efforts are already bearing fruit. In May, the Brazilian Minister of Tourism led a promotional mission in Shanghai.
This mission took place just a few weeks after Brazil canceled the visa requirements for Chinese citizens. This decision was made in response to a similar step taken by China.
