Packaging of unhealthy food products in India will soon be equipped with warning signs indicating high levels of salt, sugar, and fat. The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) informed the Supreme Court on Friday that it has agreed to implement red hexagonal warnings on the front of product packages so that consumers can easily identify goods with high levels of certain concerning nutrients.
