Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has increased the price of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) in the Delhi-NCR region by 3.89 rupees per kilogram. This increase occurred amid rising import costs for Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).
Starting Saturday, CNG in the capital will cost 86.98 rupees per kilogram. The rise in CNG prices has impacted fares for freight and passenger transport in Delhi-NCR, as most auto-rickshaws, taxis, and trucks in this region use the more environmentally friendly fuel.
