The Uzbekistan national team began its participation in the Asian Track Cycling Cup, held in Bangkok, Thailand, and already won two gold medals on the first day of the competition.

The national team secured the gold awards through Sergey Rostovtsev, who won the scratch discipline, and Samira Ismailova, who took first place in the individual pursuit race.
Previously, Sergey Rostovtsev had demonstrated high results in international competitions. He won two medals at the IV. Budapest GP tournament, which was held in Hungary. Additionally, the athlete won the points race and became a silver medalist in the scratch event.
A few days ago, Rostovtsev also achieved success at the international track cycling tournament 'GP Slovak Cycling Federation', held in the Slovak city of Prešov from August 7 to 9, where he won three medals.
