Sony has announced the games that will be part of the monthly selection for PlayStation Plus in September 2026. Subscription members will have the option to add four new titles to their library: Sniper Elite: Resistance, MLB The Show 26, Wobbly Life, and Chained Echoes.
The period to redeem these games will be from September 1st to October 5th, subject to the platform compatibility of each title. It is worth noting that subscribers still have until August 31st to add the games offered in the August edition to their collection.
Highlights of the September Selection
The September offering covers various genres, ranging from shooter and stealth games to sports, cooperative sandbox, and JRPG.
Sniper Elite: Resistance
This title transports the franchise to occupied France during World War II, presenting a campaign parallel to the events of Sniper Elite 5. In addition to the usual third-person tactical combat mechanic, which involves precision shooting and stealth, the campaign can be played in cooperative mode. There is also the Axis Invasion mode, which allows players to invade another player's match by taking control of an enemy sniper. Competitive multiplayer supports up to 16 players, while Survival mode allows teams of up to four people to fight against waves of opponents.
MLB The Show 26
For sports enthusiasts, MLB The Show 26 is a notable addition. The game allows users to build a professional career through the Road To The Show, going through the MLB Draft Combine and colleges before joining major leagues. The Diamond Dynasty mode also returns, allowing the formation of rosters with athletes from different eras of MLB. This edition also introduces a new card rating known as Red Diamond. PS Plus subscribers will also have temporary access to the MLB The Show 26 Jump Start pack, which includes five The Show packs, an equipment pack, and a Jumpstart choice pack.
Wobbly Life proposes a lighter experience in an open-world sandbox style environment. This game can be played individually or in cooperation with up to three other players, either online or locally on split screen. The map is rich in interactive elements, mini-games, missions, puzzles, and various secrets. Additionally, there is an Arcade mode with activities such as Trash Zone, Hide-and-Seek, Hula Hoop Circuit, and Playground.
Concluding the list is Chained Echoes, a single-player JRPG inspired by 16-bit era RPGs. The narrative follows a group of heroes who travel across the continent of Valandis with the goal of ending the war between three kingdoms. The gameplay system mixes traditional fantasy elements, such as dragons, magic, and swords, with technological components, including operable Mechs. The adventure unfolds in varied settings, covering archipelagos, sunken cities, and dungeons.
With the inclusion of this new selection, subscribers have until Monday, August 31st, to add the August monthly games to their library. After being included in the promotional period, the monthly games remain accessible as long as the eligible PlayStation Plus subscription is active. Finally, Sony informed that, in Brazil, starting in July 2026, a single age verification may be required to access content rated for adults over 18, as part of the adaptation to the Digital ECA.
