Cheslin Kolbe has made a full recovery from the injury sustained in the first test match between the teams in Johannesburg and will replace Kurt-Lee Arendse in the squad for game day. Meanwhile, Handre Pollard suffered a minor injury during Wednesday's training session, and after examination on Friday, it was decided to exclude him from the team.
Pollard, who is dealing with a calf strain, was initially selected to participate in the second, decisive match. This decision followed Feinberg-Mngomezulu's poor form in the 33-16 loss at Ellis Park last week. Consequently, Feinberg-Mngomezulu, who had previously returned to play after an injury in the match against Argentina several weeks ago, has been called up to start in the upcoming fixture.
Mani Leibbok, who played as a substitute at Ellis Park but was not in the initial 23-man squad, will provide cover on the bench alongside scrum-half Morne van den Berg. This week has seen a series of late adjustments.
The match will take place at the DHL Stadium, kick off at 17:10, and will be broadcast on SuperSport. Furthermore, it has been confirmed that Angus Gardner from Australia will officiate the Saturday clash, meaning a new figure in the center of the field. Gardner was originally scheduled to referee the third match in Johannesburg next week, but Nika Amashukeli from Georgia fell ill and will now take over Gardner's initial assignment in Johannesburg.
