According to data from the National Statistical Committee of Uzbekistan, the average monthly pension in the country reached 1.6492 million soms in 2025. This figure demonstrated a 3.3 times increase compared to the level in 2016.
The agency provided information indicating that in 2016, the average pension was 494,200 soms. Subsequently, there was a gradual increase: in 2017, it rose to 556,800 soms, and in 2018, it reached 640,500 soms.
In 2019, the average pension amount was 733,200 soms, which then increased to 848,500 soms in 2020 and reached 963,600 soms in 2021.
The important milestone of one million soms was crossed in 2022, when the average pension amounted to 1.0808 million soms. In 2023, this indicator continued to grow, reaching 1.2345 million soms.
The most significant growth during the period under review occurred in 2024, when the average monthly pension rose to 1.4956 million soms. In 2025, the amount increased by another 153,600 soms, totaling 1.6492 million soms.
Overall, over the period from 2016 to 2025, the average pension grew by 1.155 million soms, rising from 494,200 soms to 1.6492 million soms. In percentage terms, this increase is approximately 233.7%, leading the final 2025 figure to be roughly three times higher than the 2016 level.
