The Italian company Totem Automobili has unveiled a new example from its GT Super line, which features restyled cars inspired by the Alfa Romeo Sprint GT coupe from the 1960s. This vehicle is named Litorale Bredo and was custom-built, combining a restrained exterior with high-performance mechanics.
The project utilizes an aluminum chassis developed by Totem itself, but this specific unit was reinforced with a greater amount of carbon fiber, including all body panels. The car is painted in a Big Sur shade, reminiscent of Californian forests, while the side moldings, wheels, and front grille were darkened at the owner's request. The only external accents are small details featuring the Italian flag, which were hand-applied to the door sills.
The car's interior features a brighter design. It combines carbon fiber, titanium, and leather, and is adorned with rare wood species on the steering wheel and gear shift handle. Some additional controls have been installed on a console located on the ceiling.
Under the hood is a 2.8-liter V6 engine developed by Italtecnica. Equipped with two turbochargers, this engine produces 640 horsepower and 66.8 kg of torque in this particular model. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission.
Weighing only 1180 kg, the Litorale Bredo is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds. Totem also offers more powerful engine versions for other models in the GT Super line. Information regarding the model's cost and production has not been disclosed.
